Chris and Linda Love built their careers inside the mortgage industry and spent decades as corporate loan officers and banking professionals. With over 70 years of combined experience, they saw firsthand how the industry often limits the professional growth and revenue of the loan officers driving its production.
The couple originally planned to grow a network of corporate branches. But as operational costs climbed and corporate demands grew more rigid, they realized there had to be a better way that offered flexibility, ownership, and long-term opportunity without the weight of a top-heavy structure.
Linda and Chris’ realization became the foundation for the Love Mortgage franchise opportunity. They created a model designed to give loan officers and other industry professionals the tools they never had starting out, including a flat-fee structure, pre-vetted lender relationships, and a roadmap to building a compliant, independent brokerage from the ground up.
Linda and Chris believe that the people originating the loans should have the freedom to build something of their own. It guides their franchise development and is the foundation of an operating model that works not just as a business but as a way to pass down the knowledge they earned the hard way and to help others own a mortgage franchise with confidence in themselves and their brand.
